Tractable tumors

Immunotherapy treatments are available today in Italy for the treatment of melanoma, lung cancer, kidney, head and neck, Merkel Cell Carcinoma and Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The revolutionary potential of immunotherapy lies in the opportunity to treat different types of cancer, as it directly targets the immune system by providing an appropriate stimulation to fight the disease. Because of this, immunotherapy can be effective against types of cancer that may differ greatly from one another.

Currently, immunotherapy drugs against cancer are indicated for the treatment of melanoma, lung cancer, kidney cancer, squamous cell carcinoma of the head-neck, Merkel Cell Carcinoma and Hodgkin's lymphoma and are currently available at the Oncology Departments of the Italian National Health System.
